On every road out of NJ there’s a gas station, shinning like a beacon promising something, something more.

Stop here the beacon hails, fill up here, check your air, buy a map to freedom, relaxation, the Poconos and fresh air.

Tired and frantic the travelers make their escape. Along with their luggage they bring kids, dogs and their legendary attitudes.

60 hours a week compressing driving 100 miles an hour decompressing.

the NJ gas station covered in grease, grime, spit and an intangible humiliation is the last stop on their escape from here to there.
